When I say that Joe is tough, I mean both physically and mentally. For example, he has had so many problems with his E.E. (eosinaphilic esaughagitis). E.E. is a rare thing that causes problems in his throat when he eats certain foods. He has had to have eight or nine endoscopes where the doctors stick a camera down his throat. Although he really does not like doing stuff like this he always perseveres. He is able to power through all of it and eventually is at a point where he is able to eat almost anything because of a special medicine.
Probably the biggest reason that I like Joe is that he is so kind and can always see the good in every situation. An example would be when he gets really angry at me, he is always so quick to forgive me and come to play with me or just hang out. The second example would be the aforementioned example about his E.E.. Although he was having to go through all the stuff that he did he would always have a positive attitude and would say stuff like, "Well, at least we will figure out what the problem is." Although sometimes he can be a little bit annoying, he without a doubt brings out the best in our whole family.
It is so important to have a person like this in your life for a couple reasons. The first is that you always have someone to go to if you are sad, angry, or just need to talk. Second, it is awesome to have a good friend like that, even if it is your brother. That way you can spend even more time with that special friend. Lastly, it is just nice to have someone that is always willing to play with you, talk to you or just cheer you up a little bit. My brother Joe is the coolest kid I have ever met!
